About Hajj & Umrah
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and a religious duty performed once in a lifetime by every adult and able Muslim. Hajj includes several rituals that begin with Ihram and end with the Farewell Tawaf, and must be performed in Mecca during the months of Hajj (Shawwal, Dhul-Qa’dah, and the days of Dhul-Hijjah). *Umrah*: Umrah is a confirmed Sunnah in Islam and can be performed at any time of the year. Umrah rituals include entering ihram, circumambulating the Kaaba, sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and shaving or cutting the hair.
